Al was a wonderful man. Great smile and good advice giver. He told me things about my mother's childhood that she never told me. It was a privilege to know him. God bless his family and may he rest in peace.

The world has not known a more generous, kind hearted, loving man. When I was young and foolish, he was there to help guide me and love me. Through devastating loss, he stood strong like a statue - a bit worn, a bit crumbled, yes - but he stood and he continued to love and be loved. He fought hard, as hard as he could, with his loving family to support him. And now he celebrates with his son, and his brothers and sisters and all who have gone before him. The rest of us have to somehow continue on, and we will, but never for one moment forgetting this wonderful angel.

Uncle Al,
There wouldn't be enough room on this website for all the thank-you's I owe you. But, I will name the biggest one of all and that is for being the best Uncle and Godfather anyone could ask for. You cradled me as a baby, guided me as a teenager and walked me down the aisle at my wedding. No-one but you and I will understand the "bond" we shared. And then God needed another Angel to join my mother and you had to leave me. The "good-bye" was tough. It broke my heart and tore me up. But as you recently said to me, "be strong, you will get through this." So, I'll give it my best shot. But, it won't be easy. It has left a big void in my heart. The "Seymours" will live on and we will make you proud. Please give Mom a kiss for me. And know that every minute of every day I will be thinking of you and Mom (your sister) and missing you both very much. Til we meet again, God Bless!
Your niece & Godchild,
Cindy

Dad I have so many memories of you that it would take up the rest if my life time to write them all. Here are just a few; you taught me how to whistle, you took us on vacation every single summer, you always let me tag along with the boys to go fishing, you supported me with everything I gave ever set out to do, you taught me how to be a great pitch player, you spoiled your grand kids rotten, you taught me how to be strong, you gave me your great sense of being able to read through people and to go with my first intuition as to whether people were real or not, you taught me how to love, you taught me how to shoot a BB gun, you taught me how to catch cray fish, you gave me your beer drinking ability, you passed on to me your love for true crime books and the list goes on and on. Most importantly you taught me how to be a great parent. You were and always will be the greatest parent who ever walked this earth. I miss you so much and I love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck!

Sorry to hear of Al's passing. My dad Fred served many years with him on the Police Force, and always held him in high esteem. He and Fred fed to many ice cream bars to Mamie the fire dog. Thoughts and prayers are with you all.
