i worked at valley health for over a year, and i would not only clean her room, but i would talk to her, hug her, and make her smile, i always made sure to stop in, n see her, even when i was assigned a new area, and didnt work there anymore. she was a sweet lady, u could see her heart and beautiful soul just by looking in her eyes, it was that easy. she was always happy to see me. although it wasnt as often as i would have liked, and less so, recently, because im pregnant, and bee working a lot. im disappointed because the past few weeks ive been telling myself that i had to get up there and see her, even if it was just one last time. i never got to, i just learned of her passing this morning after just waking up to a text. i never got to say goodbye, and i dont think she kew i was expecting, that would have made her smile for sure. i cant make it to the services, but i will pray, and visit where she is placed. i will never forget the sweet lady that i called grandma! she was the reason i got up every morning, and went to work. may the lord love her, and keep her.
