Dear Betty and Family, We were so surprised and saddened when learning that Don had left us this past Friday, but you know for sure that he now sits with God’s arms wrapped around him in Heaven. Don left me with so many memories, but I think the most special, is the week the four of us spent on our cruise to Alaska. We had such a good time with him and you Betty, The airplane ride over the glaciers that he and I took, I’ll never forget, and then there was the spilt Pepsi on the airplane on the way back home, but of course the coffee get-togethers we had were special also. To you Betty and your family, Lucy and I send our most sincere condolences, and Don, till we meet again, may you rest in peace.
With Love and Prayers,
Bob and Lucy Sitterly

Dad, here I am again writing to you with tears running down my face. I know you wouldn't me to cry, but I miss you so much. I know I will make it through this in time. I remember so.well our camping.trips every summer as a family, you taking us hiking up the mountain to see the wilderness and teaching us as we found something different and the anticipated nights we went to see.the black bears eat, and your great smores. I know sometimes I gave you a run for the money, but I knew what would happen when I thought I had gotten away with something, only to know you had done this as a.child. I always thought parents never did what we.did, bit boy was I wrong. I MISS YOU AND LOVE YOU, SAMMIE

Don and Betty came to Jacksonville, Fl to visit their daughter, Carol a number of years ago. We all went to the Egyptian Exibit together. Don was completely fasinated by it all. He spent hours looking at each item and reading all the material.
We all enjoyed seeing him have such a good time. This is my memory of him and his visit and my meeting Carol's father. He was such a nice man. I met them again on another occasion and enjoyed visiting with them.
Carol is my daughter in law and I will continue to watch after her Don so she is not alone here in Florida.
