I remember the first time I meet Foster; after sitting and talking with him for sometime, I knew he was a very warm and loving man. He made me laugh and I still say he reminds me of Archie Bunker. He was a wonderful man to everyone, I'm gLad to have meet him and the rest of the family and they will always be like family to me. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time.

Love you pa, there's not a second I don't think about you. Was waiting for that day we could go get some Sumo together, you were doing so good. God had a plan for you and I know in some way..it made sense. Not sure who I am gonna call when something is wrong with my car or if I need any advice, but I am glad I had someone to turn to. You weren't just my grandfather, you were my father. Love you always Pa, I know you always be watching over me.

Hey Butch,
I am so very sorry that you have moved on ahead of us.
I do have wonderful memories of the last time we met. It was a few years ago on a warm summer day at Mom's lake house. You had your grandson with you and we talked for hours about "stuff". It was the first time my wife Jill had met you, and she commented on what a warm and kind man you were, and how lucky your grandkids are to have such a great grandpa. I especially want to thank you for all the time you spent with Mom after Dad passed away. She always spoke of your visits and I know they were the high points of her days. Rest in peace.

We feel such a loss- he has been in my life since I can remember- but it was when he became an adult that his true giving and caring shined through- he was always there when he was needed- milking the cows for my dad- coming EVERY day to the hospital with coffee and a paper when we were in a terrible accident- visiting with my mom after my dad died- or just showing up and taking his time to visit for hours (right Judy !) He was a really good guy, a cousin and a friend and we will miss him so much. Our very deepest sympathy to his beautiful family- he left us much too soon- but you are all his legacy and a tribute to his life.

I'll never forget growing up as a kid on West Main Street...every time I'd be outside, whether it be playing or getting myself into trouble, Foster would ride over on his lawnmower just to chat and tell me stories about my grandfather. He never had anything but a smile on his face and a glint in his eye. Foster, you truly were one of the good guys...and you will be missed.
