Frankfort NY Date Line Foster H. Butts, (Guy) 66 of 201 West Main Street passed away unexpectedly July 5, 2011 at St Luke's Medical Center. He was born November 20, 1944 in Utica the son of the late Foster and Agnes Cook Butts. Foster received his education in the Frankfort School System and served in the US Navy. On April 8, 1967 he married the former Judy Fellows. Foster was employed as a truck driver with O.W. Hubbell & Sons for over 25 years and then was employed at H.P. Hood and Anthony Balio's Lighting Fast Freight. Driving tractor trailer for over 40 years. Foster was a member of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church in Frankfort, a member of the Teamsters Local 182, and a former member of the Frankfort Masonic Lodge. Foster is survived by his wife Judy, a son and daughter in law Master Sgt. USMC. Steven Butts, Sr. and his wife, Melinda of Cherry Point, NC, three daughters and sons in law Shawn and Butch Luther of Schuyler, Stacy and Mark Weber of Deerfield, Shannon and Christopher Urtz of Frankfort, his grandchildren Savanna, Madison, Steven Jr. and Nathan Butts; Step granddaughters Elizabeth and Amanda, Courtney and Andrew Bord, George, Jason and Jacob Luther, Megan and Amelia Scott, David and Emily Rose Weber, Damian, Angelina and Olivia Urtz, and a great grandson Dante Williams who shares Foster's birthday, also several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Foster had a special relationship with his brothers in law and sisters in law leaving many great memories to share for years to come. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on FRIDAY July 8, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church in Frankfort with Fr. Leo Potvin officiating, assisted by Deacon James Bower with interment in Mt. Oliviet Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may call on FRIDAY, July 8, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home, Inc. 100 Otsego Street, Ilion. The family would like to thank Dr. Sloan, Dr. Guesaldo, Dr. Blaker and the staff of the 2nd floor and CCU of St. Luke's Medical Center for all the kindness and compassion shown to Forster while under their care.
