All my condolances to the family!! Stoney was and still is a part of my life. I remember him in the Boy Scouts and a boy even though I was in another troop. He was model of what Scouting is. I had the pleasure of working with Stoney through Scouting for many years and will always treasure his memory. He was a great man and am very glad I knew him. He had a real compassion for Camp Russell and many people should always be grateful for all the work of love he put into it. I sure hope there are forests up in heaven for Stoney to work in. Heaven has gained a great soul. It is with great sadness that I say "good bye" my friend. May God comfort all his family and friends.

They don't make'em like Stoney anymore. He was truley a unique individual who had a great deal of consideration for anyone who came along. I fondly remember the many weeks at Camp Russell where I would be in camp with the boys and Diane would be in the family camping area with the Stones. Of course, my daughters would spend countless hours building picnic tables and other useful wooden items with the master carpenter of Russell. We greatly respected Stoney for who he was and we will keep his memory close. Thoughts and prayers to Sue and the other members of the Stone family.
