Ilion - Ms. Pamela J. LaLonde, 70, of Ilion, passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 5, 2023 in the Foltsbrook Center in Herkimer. Pam was born in Ilion on February 28, 1953, the daughter of the late Albert and Mary Murphy LaLonde. She attended and graduated from Ilion High School and went on to attend HCCC, obtaining her degree in Business. She was at one time employed with MDS, Tarton Laundry and retired from Allied Textiles in Utica where she had been employed as an account clerk. Pam is survived by two brothers and one sister in law, Robert LaLonde of Mohawk and Dan and Carole LaLonde of Albany; nieces and nephews, Chad Binney and his wife, Christine of Albany, Timothy LaLonde of Utica, Emily and Erik Larrabee of Niskayuna, Carol and Lee Barker of Mohawk and Beth LaLonde and her companion, Dan Carpiniello of Staten Island. She was predeceased by her sister in law, Christine LaLonde in 2019. Calling hours will take place on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 from 11am - 12pm at the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home, 100 Otsego St. Ilion, NY 13357. A funeral service will take place at 12pm, at the conclusion of calling hours. Interment will follow in Armory Hill Cemetery in Ilion.
