I thought of Bob this morning when I saw a bright green Ford Explorer drive by. Bob kept his green truck meticulous and waxed like no other. I searched his name on Google and was saddened to learn of his recent passing. Bob was a great neighbor and friend. We lived in Altamont, NY in the early nineties when I was in college. Bob was a mentor to me. He taught me all about caring for a rifle and introduced me to competitive shooting. Bob taught me about car maintenance and how to fix the timing belt on my old Toyota Tercel. Bob was also a great storyteller, especially about his time with the military overseas. We lived in a mixed community and I saw Bob show kindness to all types and all colors. I also admired his compassion towards his daughter.
One time, Bob and I were in a storage unit in our complex and the police suddenly appeared with their guns drawn. Bob knew exactly how to defuse the situation, I also admire him for this. I am so sorry to hear that he passed so young, my condolences to the entire family.

I am so saddened by the loss of your brother. We were thick as thieves when we were young and I hung out at your home, on Spruce St. I have so many cherished memories of those times! I am holding you all close in my heart ♥️ and keeping you in my prayers!

I have many fond memories of growing up with Bob and Suzanne's families on Sunset Avenue. We had a great neighborhood full of kids and we were always welcomed at the Treen's house. I would like to extend my condolences to all of Bob's family and friends. I am very sorry for your loss.
