Dear Cindy & Jeff and families,
I am so very sorry for your loss. Chris and I worked together from way back in 1971 until we both could retire. We had so much fun and many laughs together. She loved you both more than anything on earth and always shared her proud Mama moments. I ran into her last summer at Walmart and we visited for quite a while....it was like nothing had changed. We could always share a laugh and a fun memory. One night we double dated with her and Dan and we ate dinner at the Black Stallion before heading to the track at Vernon Downs....we had so much fun. A lovely lady gone too soon. My deepest condolences to all of you...and May She Rest in Peace.

Chris was like an aunt to me, my mother's very best friend and a fixture of my childhood. I will remember her as a bright light, full of generosity, and vibrant in spirit. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles, and loved to cook and share her recipes! When my mother was ill Chris was at our house every single day with a new dish as well as there for me with comfort and hugs.
She loved her family so much and talked about them with such compassion and pride. I will never forget her laugh, her honesty, and all the ways she was there for and supported my mother in four decades of friendship.
Love and prayers to her entire family. ♥

I had the pleasure of working with Chris for many years at DSS-she was like family to me! Always taking care of everyone; there was nothing she wouldn't do for anyone. She so loved her children and grandchildren! Family was everything to her. So many memories! Rest in Peace Chrissy! till we meet again!

To Chrissy’s family- You were her whole world. She talked about you all with such love and adoration. I am so very sorry.
Chrissy-While I will smile thinking of our endless jokes and silliness, I will forever miss you, my friend.
May you be in the arms of your parents, your beloved sister, Jannie, and all of your fur babies over the rainbow bridge.

Our sincere condolences go out to Mrs. Arnos’ family. We will greatly miss her. We share in your sadness.
Mrs. Arno was our neighbor a few doors up. We shared a special bond with her around her love for animals. Her heart was filled with so much kindness (That kindness will be remembered with warmhearted memories). For many years she has provided food and an outdoor safe haven of warmth and shelter for the stray cats and kittens. At any given time, you could peep one relaxing on her porch or scurrying through her yard. She made them feel safe and cared for. She loved them and like us had given each one a special name based on their characteristics or personality. My Husband loved to take the time to stop and have a chat with her while he was walking our dog Jasmine and she would always send him home with a bag of special treats for her.
Our two young daughters love her. On every special occasion she would stop my husband to hand him goodie bags filled with treats and treasures for the girls. It always amazed me she would never forget them on any of these occasions. She made them feel special. On Halloween she would always say “make sure you bring the girls by I have something for them”. The girls looked forward to that because she would make a fuss over their costumes and hand them special bags filled with treasure.
Her heart was filled with so much kindness it showed through her love for animals and children.
She had an ability to bring humor and wit into countless chats. Nearly every conversation would have me and my husband laughing at her witty stories or comments.
It saddens me to say our street won’t be the same. We will miss her presence.
