Ilion-Salisbury Center Larry M. Moore, 36, of 77 Second Ave in Ilion, went to be with our dear Lord on Friday December 24, 2010, with his mom and dad by his side. Larry was born on November 8, 1974 in Little Falls the son of Larry Roy and Betty Jane (Broadbent) Moore. He was educated in Dolgeville schools and Herkimer BOCES. When growing up; Larry lived in Salisbury Center, Dolgeville and finally in Ilion. Larry was employed with the Daniel Green Co. in Dolgeville and then LaSalle Lab in Little Falls. Larry enjoyed drawing, woodworking, movies and music, collecting video games and long walks. Larry is survived by his mother and step father Betty Jane and Claude Bruce of Ilion; a brother Steven Moore and friend Cara Vossen of MN; a sister Betty Jane Moore of Ohio; a special grandmother Bonnie White and Friend Darwin of Fort Plain; step sisters Christina Bruce, Heather Dennison and Rosetta Smith, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Larry is predeceased by his father Larry Roy Moore who passed away in 1997, his grandparents Glenn and Betty Broadbent; Gordon and Esther Moore. Larry was a loving and caring man who loved life and his animal companions; Tubby and Callie, his cats, and Ellie his dog. Larry's family wish to thank the staff at Little Falls Hospital, Bassett Cooperstown, Strong memorial in Rochester, the Medicine Shop in Ilion and HOSPICE for all the care and compassion given to Larry during his illness. In keeping with Larry's wishes cremation will take places and there are no calling hours or funeral service. Arrangements are with the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home Inc. 100 Otsego St. in Ilion.
