Pamela,
My spirit, my inspiration, and my strength. It was 14 years ago, Sunny Saturday afternoon when we had our first contact through the internet. I never thought that very first moment we had would start a lasting relationship. We were finishing each others sentences from the very start, we talked for months before we ever met in person. We met at exit 45 of the NYS Thruway, a very public place, just in case I was an ax murderer. I didn’t have an ax, I did have a dozen roses and butterflies in my stomach. I knew at that very moment, I saw an angel sent by God; An angel who would watch over me and take care of me for the rest of my life. When Pam came to live with me she had to leave her friends and family, she loved Ilion and I always felt guilty for dragging her away. When I married Pam I also had the privilege of becoming a stepfather to a fantastic son; Christopher makes me proud every day.
Pam was my soul mate and always looked out for me; whether it was the unfortunate fast food worker who messed up my order, the government official on the phone or anyone else she perceived as taking advantage of me, they would experience the wrath of Pam. I believe she is still looking out for me. While Pam and I had difficulties, our ups and downs, we always loved each other. We shared 12 years of marriage and watched Christopher grow from a fun loving child to a responsible young man, we shared laughter and pain.
Today we mourn for Pamela's loss. Pam experienced pain every day, she no longer has to endure that pain, we rejoice for her new life in heaven. Farewell my loving Pam. We will be seeing each other soon. Love you so much.
