Laurence A. DuChamp, 76 of Melbourne FL formerly of Ilion passed away on Thursday September 16, 2010 in Florida.
Laurence was born on December 30, 1933 in England the son of the late Laurence H. and Winifred (Barlow) DuChamp. He was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High in New Jersey and was employed as a technical writer of the Singer Corp. in New Jersey. Laurence was a member of the Herkimer Free Methodist Church and served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
Laurence is survived by his son Mark of Florida and two daughters Lisa of Florida and Karen and her husband Jesus Sylva and their sons Brandon and Dillon of New Jersey, and a sister Thelma Tomsik of New Jersey. He was pre deceased by a son John.
In keeping with Laurence's wishes there are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at a date and time to be announced, in the Ocean View Cemetery in Staten Island.
