What a lady ! She always had time to teach me a new craft. We go way back to Spring St. and the sewing circle. She would say to me if I had anything left over to remember her. I sure will remember her. Love Fran

"Mary Linda" posted a condolence
Aunt Donna made the wedding cake when I married Dave Hardy in 1958.
Aunt Donna was there to take care of my mother, Bertha, her sister, during illness.
I remember Aunt Donna from all the reunions and family visits, and the last time I saw her I sat with her at Mother's funeral in 2003.
My thoughts and prayers will be with all the family today and tomorrow, knowing Aunt Donna is safely at rest.

Sandy, I'm so sorry to learn of your Mother's passing. Bertha was very fond of her and I knew Donna as a person of sharp wit and a sense of fun and humor. Thought the world of her.

Sandy & Len,Scot & Geri:
I'm very sorry to hear of Aunt Donna's passing. I have fond memories going way back to the farm in Schuyler where she let me ride horses...and to the holiday visits where her house was decorated like "magic" in every room. Like Sue commented, she was a wonderful woman of wit and good humor. My heartfelt condolences to you all...

Jane Anne (Haughton) Dial posted a condolence
Dear Chuck, Sandy, & Denise, I am so sorry to learn about the loss of your wonderful mother, and our long-time Haughton dear friend. There are so many happy memories of our two families living side by side on 50 Spring St! I still remember your mother's beauty, great smile & laughter...and painted nails before they were "in!" I loved the blue lights on your Christmas trees, too! As I sit here typing, I am looking at my "Mary & Joseph" ceramic figurines that Donna made for me in 1958; they have traveled many miles with me...to Odessa, TX. And the dry sink Donna kept for my mother, Nellie, until I could manage to get it has found its final home at my daughter's in Houston. I communicated with Donna, especially at Christmas, until the past two years, & I will miss hearing from her...she was indeed a special lady. My love, thoughts, and prayers are with you and your families, Jane Anne (Haughton) Dial
