I never met Mike, but I know that a Father and Husband are a cherished gift. I once read a quote that said "Death leaves a heartache that no one can heal, but love leaves a memory that no one can steal". I wish each of you memories that give you peace.

Dad i will miss you even though we never meet face to face you will always be my dad. It took 35 yrs to find a wounderful dad like you and only one minute to know I was accepted by you. I wish my brothers and sisters my greatest sympathy, but just remember the good times you where lucky you had them with dad.sorry I was not there but I just found out on sunday. It would have meant the world to me to be at the funeral.love you all!!

Uncle Mike,
I just saw you a couple of months ago. I was shocked to learn that you had stage 4 cancer. We didn't always see eye to eye. But you and Aunt Joyce gave me shelter and guided me through some real hard times. I was looking forward to sitting on the deck with you and Aunt Joyce and the dogs this summer. And to watch a movie while you made sure each of your birds got quality time with you. Thanks so much for Churchie and I wish you could have seen him again. I know you were not ready to leave. But I know that you are watching over Aunt Joyce and your family.
Love,
Your niece.
