Janice "Jan" Springer, 59, of 68 Spruce Street, Ilion passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at St Luke's Medical Center in New Hartford. Jan was born August 14, 1955 in Ilion, the daughter of the late Leonard and Louise Beach Brinkerhoff, and received her education in the Mohawk Schools and Herkimer County Community College. On July 12, 1975 Jan was united in marriage to Christopher Springer in Middleville. Jan was employed with Herkimer County Community College as a Computer Technician retiring in 2010. Jan is survived by her husband, Chris of Ilion, a son, John of San Francisco CA, four brothers, Arthur Brinkerhoff of Herkimer, Leon Brinkerhoff of Herkimer, Michael Brinkerhoff of VA, and Kurt Brinkerhoff of Herkimer, she is also survived by many loved nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
