Ilion Patricia Pauline Farr (Patty), 52 of London Towers, 100 West Main Street, Ilion, New York passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2014 after battling a long term illness. Patty was born on June 10, 1962 in Milford, New York. Patty attended Mount Markham and Ilion Central Schools and later had worked for Herkimer Industries. Patty loved her community and developed many sincere relationships with others including the owners of Brian's Roast Beef and Delhi, The Salvation Army members on Prospect Street in Herkimer where she was a volunteer for many years. Patty was a friend of the Herkimer Area Resource Center and will be missed. Patty respected many workers in the Ilion and Herkimer Police Departments. Patty developed many special relationships at her residence at London Towers and especially her neighbor, Judy Elthorp. Patty expressed great satisfaction with her care from Dr. Mills and his staff. Patty is survived by her parents, Howard Farr and Catherine (Beams) Farr of Kansas; her children, Jasmine Rose (Sara) Beauharnois, Gary Beauharnois, Dwayne Farr and Jonathan Waller; her sisters, Eleanor Conrad-Farr of Kansas, Catherine Rogers of Livingston Manor, New York, Mary Cunningham of Cedarville, New York and Janice Smaldone of Ilion, New York; her brother, Charles Farr of Frankfort, New York and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her niece, Samantha Cunningham and her nephew, Elijah Darling. Patty had a great sense of humor and those that knew her looked forward to seeing her. Patty was a good person, fun-loving spirited woman with a very caring side. A Memorial Service for Patty will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home, Inc., 100 Otsego Street, Ilion, New York with Rev. Robert Wollaber officating.
