Eleanor Christina Kilbourn Murphy, 96, of Utica passed away on Sunday August 17, 2014 at the Masonic Care Community.
Eleanor was born on December 24, 1917 in Washington Mills; she was the daughter of the late Lyle and Hildreth (Glasford) Kilbourn. She was a graduate of New Hartford Schools and worked as a screener for Remington Arms in Ilion; until her retirement several years ago.
Eleanor is survived by her son George Smith of Puerto Rico.
In keeping with Eleanor's wishes there are no calling hours and services will be held at the convenience of her family. Interment will be in the Oak View Cemetery in Frankfort.
