Marsha Kistner OFS posted a condolence
Ethel was a member of the Secular Franciscan Order in Utica NY. She was professed 11/23/1982 and was Minister for 3 years and a very active member of our Fraternity. She was always cheerful, upbeat, and had a wonderful sense of humor. She was never embarrassed to ask for help when she was Minister, and laughed at her mistakes and guffaws. Even in the Folts home, when our members would visit, Ethel continued to be a sweet, lovely lady. She was a Franciscan through and through, truly living "Gospel to life and life to the Gospel". We at the fraternity will miss her, but also will rejoice that she is with God in peace. Our sincere condolences go to the family.
