Frankfort Date Line Cyndi Marie Callahan, 50 of 102 Second Ave. passed away on Monday, March 3, 2014 at St Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Utica. Cyndi was born on August 30, 1963 in Ilion the daughter of Robert and the late Cynthia Buxton LaPoint and was educated in the Ilion and Hollywood, FL school systems. After school Cyndi was employed as a waitress and while in Florida started her own Cleaning Business. Cyndi was a very selfless and caring person who had a heart of gold; she will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her fiancé’ Michael Frezza of Frankfort, and his sisters Susan, Christine and Jackie all of Frankfort; her father and step mother Robert LaPoint and Nancy Nudo of Ilion her daughter Erin Callahan of Frankfort, two brothers Matthew and his wife Heather LaPoint of Pa. and Bobby LaPoint and his companion Teresa Price of Frankfort, a special sister in law Leslie LaPoint of West Blocton, AL., a special aunt Sandra Burton of Westmoreland and a grandson Matthew also several aunts uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her mother Cynthia, a sister Lynda Tulloch and her maternal and paternal grandparents. In keeping with Cyndi’s wishes there are no public calling hours and the funeral service will be private and at the convenience of the family.
