Steve was always there for us, our first living room set was bought and set up in our living room before I came home from the hospital with Donnie. Whenever Don needed help with anything, fixing a car, a job or things around our house because Don was unable to do them due to surgeries, Steve was there. I would have given anything to save him. He was a a great guy and he will be missed. May God bless you, Linda and James with the strength to persevere and may your memories carry you through the dark times.

Linda,James, and family, I was so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. He was more than a great guy. Almost 30 years ago I almost died in a snowmoblie accedent. Had Steve not been there, there is a good chance I wouldn't be here now. I owe Steve a debt that I can never repay. I am now in your debt. I will always remember Steve with a smile on his face.

As with so many of us we are all beyond devastated at the loss of a dear friend and classmate. It all just seems so surreal and senseless. Steve was such an awesome man and a friend to all. He will be missed more than can be imagined. My aching heart goes out to all the family members of the Baylor and Jacquays families. He's resting peacefully in the arms of our loving God. God always takes the best earliest, but he will always be near us. No words of comfort can lessen the pain you all are feeling, but just knowing we share your grief and will be here if you need anything at all. We love you Steve. Rest peacefully my friend.

Linda and James:
Time will pass but Steve's memory will live on....smiling,caring and helping others in his quiet way.His late night, blazing camp fires on Perkins Lane, always welcoming the late arrivals.
The laughter and chattering of Steve and his friends that could be heard as they put in and took out the old wooden dock (on Canadarago) that Steve always made sure was in pristine condition.
We all have different memories of Steve but i'm sure ALL those memories make us smile. What a precious gift, to be left with such memories.
