Herkimer Date Line Jeanette I. Garrigan, 89 formerly of Brantingham, passed away Thursday April 18, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Utica. Jeanette was born January 9, 1924 in Utica, NY the daughter of the late Charles and Ida (Stuckey) Roberts. She received her education in the Utica Schools. On December 16, 1944 Jeanette was united in marriage to Donald Garrigan, he passed away in November 1997. Jeanette was a member of the Church of the Annunciation in Ilion. Jeanette is survived by a son John Garrigan of Brantingham, a daughter Janet Snyder of Herkimer, two grand children Kristen and Ryan Branner and Julie Snyder and her companion Derick Kleban, three great grand children Aubrey Jeanette Branner and Isabella and Lucas Kleban . A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday April 22, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Annunciation in Ilion with Fr. Leo Potvin officiating, assisted by Deacon James Bower. Interment will follow in the Brantingham Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 3:00- 5:00 PM at the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home Inc. 100 Otsego Street Ilion. Friends are asked to consider memorials to the Herkimer County Humane Society in Jeanette’s memory, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
