Don was the manager at Howard Johnsons when I worked there back in the late 70's early 80's. He was a great boss with a unique sense of humor. My thoughts and prayer to the entire Tennant family. RIP Don.

Working with Don at the jail all those years was certainly a memorable experience-all those good meals out of the kitchen, sometimes even after we shouldn't get any. Hope you have a supply of crossword puzzles.

Let me come in where you are weeping, friend.
And let me take your hand.
I, who have known a sorrow such as yours,
Can understand.
Let me come in- I would be very still
Beside you in your grief.
I would not bid you cease your weeping, friend.
Tears can bring relief.
Let me come in- I would only breath a prayer,
And hold your hand.
For I have known a sorrow such as yours,
And understand.

I worked with Don for more than 30 years! I will always remember him as DINK!
He was always good natured and easy going. At HoJos, Don and I could handle any
kind of business that was thrown at us! Working with Dink at the jail was great.
We made a good team there and at HoJo’s! My sincere condolences to all of his family.
Words cannot express how much he will be missed by all.
Hey Dink, GO GIANTS!!

My sincere condolences to Debbie, children and grandchildren. I knew Don from elementary and high school, then saw him at work at the County. He always said "hello, how are you?" He always had a smile. I am saddened that he did not have time to enjoy his retirement, he certainly deserved to. God bless his family in this difficult time.

Don was one of my best friends when we were just kids. I remember the "trouble" that we used to get in at Annunciation School. I'll never forget the time he broke his arm (the first time). He'd strum his guitar while sitting on the front porch wearing a groove into the cast on his arm. It's been many years since I've seen him but he is one friend I'll always remember. Rest in peace old friend.
