Ilion Date Line Bruce A. Foley 62 of 1253 Elizabethtown Road, Ilion passed away Sunday May 20, 2012 at his residence with his loving family by his side. Bruce was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Bruce was born January 26, 1950 in Little Falls the son of the late Charles J. and Georgianna Munk Foley, and was educated in the Herkimer and Ilion Schools. Bruce served with the US Marines during the Vietnam era. On July 31, 1976 he was united in marriage to his loving wife the former Linda E. Rasmussen. Bruce was employed for 28 years at the Union Fork and Hoe in Frankfort. Bruce leaves behind his wife Linda two sons Eric Foley of Anderson SC and Michael Eshbaugh and his wife of Virginia, four daughters Kristy Foley-Manley of Ilion, Diana and Robert Learned of Cedarville, Robin St. Thomas of Ilion, Mary and James Beach of Ilion , and Tammy Smith of Ilion, also several grand children and great grand children. A sister Kitty Foley Gallager. His special extended family; nephew Billy, Tammy#2, and Lisa. Bruce was predeceased by his parents, and a sister Jacqueline A. ( Berridge) Ingerham. Friends are invited to attend funeral services for Bruce to be held on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 12:00 PM at the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home Inc., with Father Mark Cunningham officiating, interment will follow in the Cedarville Cemetery with Military Honors. Friends may call on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 11:00 until the time of the funeral at the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home Inc., 100 Otsego Street, Ilion.
