To the family of Ernest Savage I offer my sincerest Sympathy for your loss of a very special man in your lives and in the communities in which he lived.
He served the citizens in the State of New York and he served to meet the needs of his community in his retirement.
Although I never knew Ernie, we have traveled some of the same roads in fraternal life so I know that he was an upright man and Mason and Elk.

We send our sympathy to Ernie's wonderful family. We met in 1965, as Sandra started kindergarten and Gary met Ernie in their State Police work. Ernie and Janet were our friends, along with everyone else they ever met. Ernie's family grew and despite sadness and hard days, he was blessed to carry on doing what he did best ... working hard and loving his family and life.

Ernie was a great friend of Herkimer County Habitat for Humanity. He provided excellent advice on the electrical wiring of all our homes. And he provided Electrical Inspection for free on all homes built or rehabbed. A true gentleman and valued friend. RIP
