Nancy Irene DeFabritis, age 74, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Utica. Born in Torrington, CT, on July 31, 1947. Nancy was the daughter of the late John and Frances (Buchman) DeFabritis Nancy was a graduate of the University of Connecticut and became a real estate broker. She was a long time member of the Carriage Association and loved driving and judging horse drawn carriages. She was an avid book reader, enjoyed sports cars, collecting antiques and raising various animals. She lived her life to the fullest. She will be dearly missed by her lifelong friend Lois Tuck-Hunt and other friends she had made throughout her interesting lifetime. Friends and family are invited to attend Nancy’s visitation from 3:00-4:00 with a Memorial Service to follow at 4:00 at the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home, 100 Otsego St., Ilion.
