Obituary of Yvonne Adrienne Zito

Please share a memory of Yvonne to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Frankfort – Yvonne Adrienne Zito, age 57, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at the Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare Center surrounded by her loving family and beloved companion. Born in Utica on July 25, 1964, Adreinne (as she was known) was the beloved daughter of Yvonne (Smith) Zito and the late Dominic J. Zito. Adrienne had a priceless heart of gold. She was a true blessing to many of those she befriended over her 57 years. Her character is perhaps best illustrated by her penchant, since childhood, for rescuing and bringing home stray cats. Her caring, selfless, and loving spirit will be dearly missed by many for many years to come. She most recently served as co-owner of the Utica Custom Shirt Company. Adrienne is survived by her mother, Yvonne; her siblings, Chris J. Zito, Mark Zito, and Diane Zito; her cherished niece and nephews, Alex, Marcus, Dominic, and Molly; her longtime companion Ray Jadwick; beloved Goddaughter Toni Evanchak; many special cousins, friends. . . and, last but not least, “Blackie-Boo”, the stray kitten she rescued some 6 months or so ago. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 11:00AM-12:00 PM at the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home, 100 Otsego St. In Ilion. A Memorial Service will follow at the conclusion of visitation with Deacon Ron St. Marie, officiating. Inurnment will take place in Mt. Olivet Cemetery at the convenience of her family.
