Mohawk - Mr. John W. “Jack” Schoendorf, 86, of Mohawk passed away on Saturday May 29, 2021 at Sitrin Health Care with his family by his side. Born on July 2, 1934, the son of Helen and Francis Schoendorf. John graduated from Mohawk Central School in 1952. He married his wife, Donna Bridger, in 1958. John was in the US Navy from 1953 to 1957. He was very active in the community and was employed by the Oneida National Bank from 1958 to 1996. He was President of the Mohawk Central School Board, Treasurer of the Village of Mohawk, Treasurer of the Herkimer Elks #1439, a member of the Crawley Barnum Post, American Legion, and an exemplary member of the Mohawk Fire Department. He is survived by his beloved wife, Donna of Mohawk; two daughters, Lori Kline and husband Stephen, and Jodi Humphrey; and three grandchildren, Ryan Humphrey, Steven Kline, and Kaitlyn Kline.
