Ilion Christine H. Robertson, 93 of Ilion passed away on Sunday June 21, 2020 at Folts Brook Center in Herkimer. Christine was born on November 27, 1926 in Richmond, VA, she was the daughter of Samuel and Nora Harris. She was a graduate of Richmond Schools and attended secretarial school. On December 21, 1946 she married Harold "Squeak" Robertson, they shared 59 years of marriage, until his passing in 2005. Over the years Christine worked at Snyder, Spellman and Getman Law Firm, Larry DelGrego and Son's, finally retiring from the guidance off at the Ilion Central Schools. Christine was very active in the Oak Ridge Free Methodist Church and looked forward to attending Sunday services when she was able. She was an accomplished pianist and organist and served as the choir director in several churches in New York and Florida, where she and her husband spent the winters for more than twenty years. She is survived by her three children; William of Mohawk, Stewart of Vermont and Nancy of Ilion; seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, her father- and mother-in law and two half-brothers, Franklin and Melvin Harlowe. In keeping with Christine's wishes there are no public services.
