William L. Ward Jr, 70, passed away on Wednesday January 22, 2020 at Sitrin Healthcare in New Hartford.
Bill was born on October 11th, 1949 in Ilion, New York. He was the son of William L. and Gwendolyn ( Nolan ) Ward. He was a graduate of West Winfield Central School. Following graduation he joined the US Air Force and proudly served until his retirement.
He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. Bill loved music and singing karaoke with his friends. He was also an avid Elvis impersonator having performed at several events and military functions.
Bill is survived by his sisters; Patricia Synakowski of Holland Patent and Ginnie Sheppard of Fl. Bill is also survived by a very special aunt; Virginia Palante. He also held a special place in his heart for nieces and nephews; Rhenell, Joy, Nicholas and Larry.
Services for Bill will be held in the spring and he will be laid to rest in Cedarville Cemetery.
Arrangements are with the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home Inc, 100 Otsego St. in Ilion.
