Jim Kelly posted a condolence
To the Loomis family I offer my deepest condolences.
I just found out today about Jim’s passing. I have known Jim for many years. He made regular FECO visits to my power plant in Milford, Connecticut. Jim was the one who taught me everything he knew about his fire detection system. Never have I met anyone more than Jim who, in the field service industry, cared so much to take the all the time necessary to ensure I was well qualified to maintain a system. Everyone who had a FECO system in their facility knew Jim Loomis. It was well-known throughout the business that if you were taught by Jim Loomis, you were taught well. Without Jim’s training and “call me any time you have a problem dedication, solving FECO system problems at Milford would have been impossible.
Jim solved many problems in my plant where other fire detection companies couldn’t succeed, and he made it look easy. He accepted little or no recognition for his accomplishments; in turn he shared his information with me as to avoid the same technical pitfall again.
Jim made regular visits to the Milford plant, sometimes staying on site for a week at a time. He shared many personal experiences and was a very candid individual; His main focus in life was always about his daughter Larissa. I’ve never seen him without a Cheshire cat grin.
Jim was a good man and he will be missed.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Loomis, Larissa, Robert, Linda, and all the family friends of Ray. No words anyone can say can ease your loss. Maybe some comfort can be taken in knowing how well Ray was thought of. Years have passed since we have all seen each other, yet the memories of him are as vivid as yesterday. Ray was smart, funny, kind, and all of us are better for knowing him. My deepest sympathies and my prayers for peace go out to you all.

Dear Lorraine and Robert,
My sympathies go out to you and your family at the untimely passing of Ray. I graduated from high school with Ray. Although I know it was 28 years ago, it seems like yesterday. Ray was a kind and gentle person and I will always remember him for that.
Sincerely, Linda (Aldinger) Hauck
