Frankfort Olga Paro, 86, of First Ave. in Frankfort passed away on Saturday July 3, 2011 in Faxton-St. Luke's Health Care in New Hartford. Olga was born on August 4, 1924 in Russelton PA the daughter of the late Peter and Elizabeth (Mica) Valenta. She was educated in Van Hornsville Schools and on August 10, 1946 married her loving husband James Paro in Ilion he passed away in 1981. Olga is survived by her children; Joanne and her husband Philip Zaffarano of Sherwood, AR, Diane and Ken Brann of Brewerton, James and his companion Lynn Fraser of Masdon, NY, and Robert of Frankfort; her grandchildren Philip and Jeanne Zaffarano, Christine and David Bromley, Anthony and Misty Zaffarano, Timothy Brann, Daniel Brann, Robert Jensen, James Paro and Andrew Paro; great grand children, Oksana, Philip and Nico Zaffarano, Alex, Nick Bromley, Gaige and Cohen Zaffarano; her sister Millie Volo of Ilion and a sister in law Theresa Health of Ilion. She is predeceased by a sister Anne Valenta, a brother John and a great granddaughter Jadelyn Zaffarano. Funeral services for Olga will be held on Wednesday July 6, 2011 at 10:30am at the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home Inc. 100 Otsego St. in Ilion; Deacon James Bower will officiate and interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery in Herkimer. Friends may call on Wednesday from 9:30 until the time of the funeral and are asked to consider memorial donations to the American Diabetes Association, envelopes are available at the funeral Home. Olga's family wish to thank the staff at Mohawk Valley Health Care and St. Luke's second floor W & CC unit for their kindness and compassion during Olga's illness.
